Job Description

Catholic Charities Maine has an On-Call opportunity (3-hours per week) for an Agape Aide in Limerick. The Agape Aide is a trained supervised paraprofessional who provides in-home services designed to assist select retired priests to remain independent in their own homes. Tasks include services such as cleaning grocery shopping and laundry. The work is done in priests residences and involves travel.

Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED certificate is preferred. Basic computer skills and the ability to print neatly are required. No formal experience requirement. Preference will be given to those with experience serving seniors and persons with disabilities those familiar with and comfortable working with clergy as well as experience in housekeeping and home management.

Salary: $17.69/hour
