Job Description
Electrical Engineer / Electrician required to join a leading M&E (mechanical & electrical) installation company.
The successful Electrical Engineer / Electrician will be field-based covering Devon Plymouth Cornwall Dorest and surrounding areasresponsible for installation maintenance testing and fault finding across a range of industrial commercial and domestic projects. The role will have a strong focus on supporting HVAC systems controls and renewable technologies working closely with project teams to deliver high-quality electrical installations.
The Electrical Engineer / Electrician must hold recognised electrical qualifications including 18th Edition certification and a Gold CSCS/ECS card with proven experience in electrical installation and maintenance. Candidates with 2391 Test & Inspection and/or SSSTS/SMSTS are particularly encouraged to apply as long-term progression opportunities are available.
Package
- Circa 45k (depending on experience)

Electrical Engineer / Electrician Role
- Install maintain and repair electrical systems for power lighting and controls.
- Carry out wiring and electrical support for HVAC BMS and renewable energy systems.
- Perform testing inspection and fault finding in line with 18th Edition and IEE regulations.
- Support project delivery across industrial commercial and domestic sites.
- Liaise with site managers project teams and clients to ensure safe and efficient installations.

Electrical Engineer / Electrician Requirements
- Qualified Electrician with recognised electrical qualifications.
- Gold CSCS/ECS card and 18th Edition certification (BS 7671).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience across industrial commercial or domestic electrical projects.
- 2391 Test & Inspection and/or SSSTS / SMSTS certification is advantageous.
- Strong fault-finding testing and problem-solving skills.

- Regular trips into the office and merchants for part collection based near Newton Abbot.
