Heavy Equipment Field Technician

Heavy construction equipment dealer in Humbolt County CA seeking experienced heavy equipment diesel mechanics for field service. We are a small family-owned non-union company with a big-company compensation and benefits package! We have locations throughout California Nevada and Arizona Utah Washington. We are growing and very busy so OT is a must.

Service customer equipment in shop or at customers jobsite

Capable of completing jobs at or under manufacturers published flat rate repair times

Ability to plan work and complete route maintenance services without supervision

Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs

Must be able to work under pressure independently and as a team player

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years experience maintaining/servicing heavy equipment

Equipment dealership background ideal

Must be able to lift 75# unassisted

Welding experience

Hydraulic & electrical experience

Mid-level diagnostic ability

Ability to do repairs such as welding R & R of major components such as axles engines and transmissions

Ability to perform repairs on components and attachments such as hammers and shears

Engine certifications a plus

Ability to understand instructions written and verbal

Possess a clean and valid Class B drivers license recent printout required

Must be detail oriented

Ability to multi-task

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
