Job Description:
Are you someone who enjoys keeping things organized helping others and making sure the day runs smoothly The Department of Mechanical Engineering in the College of Engineering is looking for a dependable and detail-orientedAdministrative Assistant IIto support our faculty staff and students.
If you like variety in your work and being the go-to person for getting things done this could be a great fit for you.
What Youll Do:
- Keep the office runningby managing supplies mail shared equipment and classroom support.
- Support student workersby tracking time correcting records and communicating with HR payroll and faculty.
- Coordinate eventsby arranging catering booking rooms and handling logistics for everything from small meetings to department celebrations.
- Manage access and tech needs including key distribution and phone/data line requests.
- Assist faculty committeeswith scheduling tracking outcomes and preparing materials.
Job Details:
- Full-time on-site position located inAmes Iowa.
- Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Occasional flexibility may be needed for event support.
