Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Linux and Windows Server System
Administrator to manage and support our hybrid server environment. The ideal candidate
will be responsible for deploying maintaining securing and troubleshooting both Linux
and Windows-based systems ensuring high availability and optimal performance of IT
infrastructure.
Required Skills:
Proven experience as a Linux (RHEL CentOS) System Administrator Server
Administrator or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Linux OS internals scripting and server troubleshooting.
Experience with virtualization (e.g. VMware Hyper-V).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) is a plus.
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. SCOM Nagios Zabbix Prometheus).
Understanding of network protocols and services (DNS DHCP TCP/IP SSH etc.).
Strong skills in bash Python or PowerShell scripting.
Familiarity with automation/configuration management tools
Manage high-availability (HA) clusters using tools such as: Windows Failover
Clustering Windows Server Cluster Manager SQL Server Always On
Configure load balancing redundancy and failover strategies.
Managing Active Directory Group Policy DNS DHCP and file in Windows
environments.
Performing and testing regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
Understanding the enterprise tools such as tenable CSAM etc.
Reviewing FISMA compliance and update security documents
Knowledge of security best practices and system hardening.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
4 years of hands-on experience in a Windows and Linux system administration role.
Strong understanding of Windows Server administration (AD DNS GPO etc.).
Strong understanding of Linux administration (user management services logs etc.).
Experience with virtualization technologies and system backups.
Solid grasp of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP DNS routing firewalls).
Proficiency in PowerShell and Linux shell scripting.
