Ferguson is currently seeking an individual to fill an immediate need for a Fabrication Manager.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work: locations quantities and sizes of materials required
- Prioritize workflow through the shop and use all resources to implement tasks efficiently and effectively to meet delivery deadlines
- Identify all tools required for tasks
- Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks
- Responsible for performance metrics process improvement and lean thinking
- Prepare fabricate install and fit pipe to specifications
- Install valves hangers supports flanges inside piping system according to plans and applicable specifications
- Perform test to ensure the quality of the pipe and the piping systems
- Hoist loads using slings chains shackles hooks cables and other rigging equipment
Qualifications
- 3 years of direct supervisory/management experience as a job site foreman fab shop supervisor or project manager
- 10 years minimum experience in the mechanical contracting or process piping industry
- Ability to read prints and illustrate detailed knowledge of pipe fitting procedures and skills
- Previous experience in the mechanical contracting or process piping industry with pipe fitting processes preferred
- Welding experience is a plus but not required
- Must have good problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with individual contributors teams peers and leadership

Pay Range:
-
$3712.50 - $8167.50-
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
