Ferguson is currently seeking an individual to fill an immediate need for a Fabrication Manager.

Responsibilities

Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work: locations quantities and sizes of materials required
Prioritize workflow through the shop and use all resources to implement tasks efficiently and effectively to meet delivery deadlines
Identify all tools required for tasks
Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks
Responsible for performance metrics process improvement and lean thinking
Prepare fabricate install and fit pipe to specifications
Install valves hangers supports flanges inside piping system according to plans and applicable specifications
Perform test to ensure the quality of the pipe and the piping systems
Hoist loads using slings chains shackles hooks cables and other rigging equipment

Qualifications

3 years of direct supervisory/management experience as a job site foreman fab shop supervisor or project manager
10 years minimum experience in the mechanical contracting or process piping industry
Ability to read prints and illustrate detailed knowledge of pipe fitting procedures and skills
Previous experience in the mechanical contracting or process piping industry with pipe fitting processes preferred
Welding experience is a plus but not required
Must have good problem-solving abilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with individual contributors teams peers and leadership

Pay Range:

$3712.50 - $8167.50

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.

Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
