Provide delivery of superior claims service determining proper policy coverage to conclude investigate evaluate and negotiate assigned cases.

Your new role

As a Senior Claims Specialist youll play a key role in delivering an exceptional claims experience. Youll assess policy coverage investigate claims and negotiate resolutions with empathy and professionalism. Key responsibilities include:

  • Proactively managing your own portfolio of financial lines or general liability claims through to resolution.

  • Building strong trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders through clear communication and a values-led approach.

  • Overseeing the litigation process in collaboration with our Legal Panel.

  • Identifying opportunities to reduce claims costs and minimise leakage while promoting a strong risk management culture.

  • Providing technical support and mentoring to Claims Specialists on complex matters.

  • Happy to discuss flexible working.

About you

As an experienced Claims Specialist within the insurance industry you will embody QBE DNA be customer centric and have:

  • Fundamental knowledge of insurance industry and claims processes.

  • Experience handling financial lines and/or general liability claims.

  • Strength in collaboration and supporting other viewpoints a team player.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

  • Ability to analyse and negotiate.

  • Ability to problem solve resolve conflict and influence others.

Please note that for the successful candidate this process will include a phone screen with our Talent Acquisition team interviews (either face to face or online via Teams) and background checks.
