Job Summary
The Bon Secours Wellness Arena is looking for a dedicated part-time Zamboni Driver to enhance the experience of our ice this role you will operate the Zamboni to maintain top-quality ice conditions for hockey games public skating sessions and various entertainment events.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently operate the Zamboni machine to resurface the ice before and during activities.
- Inspect and maintain the Zamboni for proper functionality and safety compliance.
- Monitor ice conditions and temperature making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide assistance during event setup and breakdown as needed.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to deliver a seamless and enjoyable experience for patrons.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and policies while on duty.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and 18 years of age or older
- Experience operating a Zamboni or similar machinery is preferred but training will be provided.
- Basic knowledge of ice maintenance preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Strong attention to detail and capability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.
- A valid drivers license and clean driving record is required.

Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly; Direct Deposit required.
Hourly Rate: $13-15 per hour depending on experience FLSA status: non-exempt
Work Shift: Vary depending on event schedule; includes evenings and weekends
