How This Role Impacts Live Oak and its People

As an Associate Secondary Market Analyst your role is crucial in safeguarding the accuracy and integrity of our core data through your knowledge of Live Oak loan products. Your role will directly impact the Banks financials bysupporting the Secondary Markets team in the execution of anysecondary market and participation loan activities.

What Youll Do at Live Oak

  • Processes/maintains secondary market loan activities including coordinating the sale of loans booking the sold/participated portion of loans filing appropriate reports processingpaymentsand maintaining the loans and the relationship with participatory banks.

  • Gives notification to SBA/USDA regarding participations makes requests for data changes in the SBA database to facilitate secondary market sales and interfaces with SBAs Fiscal Transfer AgentParticipants & USDA investors for loan requests/modifications.

  • Reviews the applicable terms of the Note Authorization and SBA systems for accuracy during the loan bidding process.

  • Processes daily 1502 for secondary market investors.

  • Executes Data Analysis using Fiserv Premier Business Analytics.

  • Tracks sold and settled loans and income derived from those sold. Makes proper general ledger entries to account for transactions related to the settlement of sold loans.

  • Reconciles general ledger accounts for disbursements on future advancing loans.

  • Tracks sold and settled loans and income derived from those sold. Makes proper general ledger entries to account for transactions related to the settlement of sold loans.

  • Reconciles general ledger accounts for participation payments loan suspense and disbursements on future advancing loans.

  • Supports Secondary Market Analyst in filing and record keeping of sale documents and participation agreements at time of sell and repurchase when applicable.

  • Support Secondary Market Analyst in fielding loan-specific questions received from secondary market investors or participants as it relates to loan activity.

  • Support Secondary Market Analyst in the loan modification process as it relates to secondary market-related activities.

  • Update core data to align with approved loan modification documents.

How Youll Do It

  • Utilizing detailed-oriented data organization skills assist in the loan sale settlement and servicing functions

  • Extensive knowledge of Excel will assist you infacilitating secondary market transactions.

  • Develops an understanding of Bank systems including Fiserv Premier Salesforce Prism and more.

  • Develops an understanding of bank policies and procedures.

  • Develops an understanding of the Banks sold and participated portfolio

  • Develops an understanding of the Banks loan products (SBA USDA and participations)

  • Take ownership of primary responsibilities

Required and Preferred Experience

  • Bachelors degreein FinanceBusiness Applied Mathematics Computer ScienceStatisticsData Scienceor another related field

  • Proficiency inMicrosoft Office (Advanced Excel)

  • Fluency with Excel formulas and functions

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively

  • Analytical and data-gathering skills

  • Learning thinking concentration creativity

  • The ability to remain flexible and willing to get involved in a variety of ad-hoc projects

  • The ability to interact with others and exercise self-control

  • The ability to exercise discretion when necessary

The base pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $90000.00 per year. Compensation may also include annual bonuses and long-term incentives subject to various metrics and company policy. A candidates salary is determined by several factors including travel relevant work experience or skills and expertise.
