What You Will Do
Lead the Warehouse/Logistics/Kitting team to achieve safety people quality on-time delivery and cost metrics.
Manage logistics flow within and between sites always maintaining safe operations and regulatory compliance to support material availability.
Develop monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) with visual management at the shop floor level.
Administer and maintain logistics shipping documentation in line with audit and regulatory compliance requirements.
Lead turnback resolution drive root cause and corrective action (RCCA) establish robust standard work that empowers the team to deliver consistent reliable results.
Foster a culture of accountability teamwork and continuous improvement driving an engaged multi-skilled team.
Collaborate with Operations Engineering Quality Finance HR and external vendors to deliver business goals.
Champion compliance with CORE EH&S Ethics Global Trade and Quality standards embedding best practices in daily operations.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration Operations Management or a related field.
Minimum 5 years experience in logistics inventory management kitting or a related supply chain role.
Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing aerospace or defense environment.
Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and warehouse management systems.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to address operational challenges effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across teams and with stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize tasks manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Good working knowledge of MS Office software (Word Excel and PowerPoint).
Demonstrated commitment to safety quality and continuous improvement.
Qualifications We Prefer
Relevant aircraft engine workshop practices and maintenance & repair of gas turbine engines.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices continuous improvement initiatives or Six Sigma methodologies.
