Job Summary
Minimum Qualifications
Two years professional experience in an academic administrative office or similar with preference for experience in higher education.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree preferred Ability to develop and maintain knowledge in disparate functional areas Strong initiative and critical thinking skills required Banner experience preferred Strong ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment Ability to work independently with minimal direction Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed Creative problem solving skills with a focus on long-term resolutions Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to learn quickly and apply new ideas and concepts to the real world work environment Excellent documentation skills Ability to prioritize and execute critical tasks in a timely fashion Ability to respond respectfully and effectively to people of all cultures in a manner that affirms the worth and preserves the dignity of individuals families and communities We seek creative adaptable staff who enjoy working in a university climate that promotes cultural diversity multicultural understanding and cultural fluency.
