Join Thermo Fisher Scientific Mebane NC where your ambition meets opportunity. As a Lead Process Technician youll play a pivotal role in driving world-class engineering solutions. Youll work in a dynamic environment with a team thats committed to innovation and excellence successfully implementing strategies that determine the future of scientific advancement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for machine start-ups

Be the responder to all machine robot TCU and secondary equipment alarms.

Ensure machines and robots are running at optimum efficiency

Fix machine mold and material problems

Report to Production engineer any difficulties or problems requiring special attention.

Responsible for the accurate completion of paperwork.

Responsible for all die change activities

Responsible for maintaining the appearance of all TCUs Robot Control Stations

Ensure accurate care of all equipment especially the managing and accurate disposal of all purgings.

Responsible for continuous improvement (ideas and suggestions)

Responsible to follow all OSHA and safety rules and regulations

Other duties as requested. Follow established company policies and procedures with a focus on safety laws. Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.

Make required machine and equipment control adjustments to maintain accurate quality and cycle efficiency

Support the development of Process Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (PFMEA)

Experience:

Preferably 3-5 years of experience in the injection molding process and tooling (including tooling qualifications and fixing) or equivalent.

Preferably experienced in process validations and adjustments through IQ OQ & PQ.

High School Diploma or GED .
