University Security Officer - Access Control & Bike Patrol Officer
Pay: $19.75 per hourto start
Schedule: (PT 22.5 HRS PER WEEK) Friday and Saturday 7A-3P Sunday 9A-3:30P
Qualifications:
Active Connecticut State Guard CardREQUIRED
Active Connecticut State Drivers License - Reliable transportation & Clean Motor Vehicle History
High School Diploma or GED
2 years of Security Experience REQUIRED- Military/ Law Enforcement experience may substitute
Calm polite and professional demeanor.
Reliable and self-motivated with high level customer service
Bicycle Riding Required
Seeking a security officer who is willing to check identification cards secure entrances monitor cameras maintain logbook entries and report any issues to the shift supervisor. University Patrol officers are expected to be able to stand for prolonged periods walk long distances outdoors (6-8 miles each shift) be comfortable with incident report writing bike patrol be comfortable with driving SUVs on site respond to calls and interact with the campus community.

The Bike Patrol Officer maintains the security and safety of sites by conducting patrol services and Security Officer duties within a mobile operation.
