Job Role Summary:
As a Project Scheduler you will assist in developing reviewing and maintaining project schedules for assigned projects. You will participate in scheduling meetings gather scheduling data and update schedules as necessary. This is a safety-sensitive position.
What You Will Do:
General:
-
Basic knowledge of Primavera P6 Scheduling Software and standard operating procedures
-
Support development of Master Project Schedules (MPS) and proposal schedules as assigned
-
Collaborate with field supervision subcontractors and vendors to help them understand and work according to the project schedule
-
Participate in all scheduling meetings for assigned projects
-
Perform additional assignments as requested by supervisors
Preconstruction:
-
Review contracts to understand scheduling milestone dates deliverable requirements software requirements and scheduling policy variances
-
Assist in developing Master Project Schedules aligned with contract and company scheduling policies
Construction:
-
Maintain safety protocols including current OSHA 30-hour training and proper PPE usage during site walkthroughs
-
Prepare MPS Baselines for owner submission and approval
-
Update MPS monthly or as required ensuring compliance with scheduling policies
-
Assist project teams with scheduling narratives for monthly updates
-
Document all scheduling meetings with owners and subcontractors

What You Will Need:

Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering Architecture or related field preferred; equivalent combination of training and/or field experience accepted

Experience with Primavera (Oracle) P6 version 19 and Microsoft Office Suite

Experience using On Center Software
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Presentation skills for meetings and training sessions
-
Demonstrated leadership interpersonal and coaching skills
-
Knowledge of general installation practices across all CSI divisions for effective communication of schedules and review of CPM schedules

Ability to lead face challenges solve problems and motivate while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers

Ability to read interpret and understand contract documents drawings specifications scopes of work and project schedules

Effective time management and decision-making skills with the ability to multitask and handle competing priorities
