Senior z/OS Database Engineer

o Responsible for analysis support development reengineering and Candidate will provide support for
developers working in specific programming languages (COBOL JCL and SQL) using common z/OS facilities and
products.
o Provide performance analysis and tuning troubleshooting capacity planning benchmark design.
o Develop a streamlined process for z/OS software upgrades and maintenance.
o Design methodologies for data synchronization from operational data stores to a data warehouse across multiple
database platforms and varied DBMS.
o Planning interfacing and usage between z/OS and LUW DB2 application databases data warehouse Cognos
Identity Insight and DataStage.
o Act as liaison between Data Management business customers and application development staff to ensure that
recommended performance considerations are included in reviews designs development and implementation of
applications.
o Create cost effective and timely solutions to strategic business requirements utilizing database structures application methodologies and coding techniques.
