Job Overview

Seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic for daily inspection preventive maintenance and minor repairs of commercial building systems at the Bryant Building. The role covers HVAC plumbing electrical safety components and building security with additional duties in facility support and emergency/on-call response.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect and perform minor repairs on HVAC plumbing and electrical systems
Complete preventive maintenance and document service to building equipment
Conduct monthly life safety inspections (e.g. fire extinguishers emergency/exit lights fire doors)
Monitor janitorial services perform emergency cleaning when needed
Inspect exterior areas including sidewalks parking lots roof
Assist with office relocations furniture assembly and satellite office needs
Manage security system including access card programming and communications
Coordinate with contractors for repairs beyond in-house capabilities
Serve as on-call responder for after-hours and emergency facility issues
Report and communicate maintenance needs for facility complexes

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 5 years commercial building maintenance experience (not residential/apartment)
Demonstrated skills in building trades mechanical repair blueprints measurements and safe equipment use
Ability to install maintain and repair motors generators and mechanical equipment
Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing for installations/repairs
Clear English communication (verbal and written)
Computer skills and ability to operate vehicles
Must pass level 2 background and MVR screening
On-call availability outside standard work hours
