Title: Medical Assistant (CMA or MA-R)
Department: Family Medicine MA
Type: Travel Contract 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift 5x8-Hour (08:00 16:30)
Start Date: 10/06/2025 (ASAP acceptable)
We are seeking a Medical Assistant (CMA or MA-R) to support its Family Medicine outpatient clinic. The role involves patient care activities clinical support and office duties. Candidates must be local only have reliable transportation and be available for scheduled interviews (3 confirmed times required).
Responsibilities:Room patients and record history medications and allergies.
Perform vital signs (BP pulse temperature respirations) vision testing and hearing screening.
Set up and assist providers with procedures including nebulizer treatments injections and immunizations.
Collect and label specimens (throat swabs urine UA/clean catch venipuncture).
Conduct basic laboratory testing (blood glucose via glucometer).
Perform administrative duties: telephone triage pharmacy calls/refill requests follow-up calls and documentation.
Administer TB tests remove sutures and provide patient education as appropriate.
Float within skillset as needed to meet facility demands.
Locals only no travelers.
Must have reliable personal transportation.
3 confirmed interview times must be submitted with the application (no call/no show disqualification system-wide).
First-time travelers accepted.
No weekends or call required.
RTO must be confirmed with the hiring manager and disclosed at submission.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (CMA or MA-R accepted).
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience required.
Strong clinical background required.
License / Certifications:
Required: BLS.
Accepted: CMA or MA-R credential.

Vital signs hearing/vision screening specimen collection venipuncture immunizations nebulizer treatments TB test administration.
Assistance with procedures suture removal rooming patients.
Laboratory: Blood glucose testing specimen labeling/handling.
