POSITION SUMMARY
The Community Services Professional Manager supports the CHS mission by providing leadership supervision training and overall coordination of activities at various locations where Community Supports are served.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Community Services Professional Manager you will:
- Affirm the success of subordinate team members by interviewing hiring and scheduling new talent; training team members including training staff on Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and implementation strategies; verifying and approving schedules; administering corrective actions in accordance with company policy; leading performance improvement initiatives; and providing constructive and timely feedback through performance evaluations and everyday interactions
- Support departmental and team service delivery goals by participating in an on-call rotation per departmental guidelines; collaborating with peers and other team members on departmental projects; and maximizing productivity through knowledge skills abilities and the optimizing organizational strategies
- Create a culture of communication by preparing in advance for attending and leading Individual-centered or administrative meetings including managing required attendance standards when appropriate; actively reporting to the management team on developments or concerns; utilizing available technologies to communicate with supervisory line when working off-premises; and problem solving issues or concerns
- Maintain integrity of records for compliance by ensuring all required logs & documentation are kept current on a daily basis; ensuring the Medication Administration Records (MARs) for assigned programs are accurate; writing implementation strategies related to ISPs for individuals served; and reviewing and approving billing logs per departmental standards
- Maintain the health and welfare of supported Individuals by administering prescription and PRN medications as prescribed by physician; and collaborating with nurses and medical staff when necessary to meet the medical needs of Individuals served
- Project a positive image of the Center for Human Services by forging positive relationships with staff members providers external agencies community members Individuals and their Guardians and/or family members and other stakeholders in a courteous kind and professional manner reflective of the CHS mission culture and core values

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree (BA or BS) from an accredited university and/or a combination of education and direct experience equal to four years.
- Supervisory experience
- Must possess the following certifications or be able to successfully complete upon hire: CPR and First Aid
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of Paycom platform preferred
REQUIRED MISCELLANEOUS QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid drivers license
- Reliable licensed and insured vehicle
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Occasional travel as required in fleet or personally-owned vehicle
- Lift carry squat bend move push or pull sit or stand for long intermittent periods
- Type on a keyboard for long periods
