Job Description
Position Summary:
The Material Handler will perform physical tasks to transport or store materials or merchandise. Duties involve one or more of the following:
- Manually loading or unloading freight cars trucks or other transporting devices
- Unpacking shelving or placing items in proper storage locations
- Transporting goods by material handling equipment hand truck cart or wheelbarrow.
- Responsible for the receipt inspection inventory condition code classification storage issue packing and shipment of equipment material and supplies
- Process material and equipment by utilizing DLA provided SOPs computer systems and programs.
- Load and unload conveyances utilizing material handling equipment up to 50K forklift.
Qualifications:
- US Citizen
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age
- Valid state drivers license
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must have the ability to be cleared for a NACI clearance to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
