Special Education TeacherFull-Time Malden MAAbout the RoleMystic Valley Regional Charter School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans. This position plays a vital role in ensuring every student has access to the specialized instruction accommodations and encouragement needed to succeed academically socially and ResponsibilitiesProvide direct and indirect instructional support in alignment with each students IEP or 504 clear measurable objectives for lessons and communicate them effectively to evidence-based instructional strategies including phonics multi-sensory methods and targeted repetitionto support skill development in language cognition motor coordination and differentiated instruction tailored to individual learning styles and a safe structured and inclusive classroom environment consistent with the school-wide behavior maintain service logs lesson plans and student data in compliance with state and federal as case manager and primary contact for assigned participate in IEP/504 meetings progress reporting and multidisciplinary team with families general education teachers specialists and support staff to ensure cohesive educational with state and district assessments as in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices in special additional duties as assigned (e.g. afternoon duty materials preparation documentation).QualificationsBachelors degree required masters degree in special education or related field Massachusetts teaching license in Special Education (or eligibility) (Sheltered English Immersion) Endorsement knowledge of IEP/504 development compliance and communication collaboration and interpersonal organized with strong attention to to supporting the academic social and emotional growth of all in a charter school or high-expectation academic environment is a Join Mystic ValleyMystic Valley Regional Charter School is among the top-performing public schools in Massachusetts and the nation.
