Job Summary:

You will be responsible for setting up and operating equipment as well as assisting in other tasks done with mail production shipping and delivery.

Our Bindery Operator works closely with customers and our sales team providing support with the goal of increasing sales and customer satisfaction.

Responsibility Overview:

Perform bindery function as noted on work orders/job tickets. This may include: folding cutting padding numbering coil binding collating scoring perforating drilling stitching or stapling laminating and wrapping.
Establish priorities by dates on work orders/job tickets and when necessary priorities set by management.
Package jobs complete job tickets/work orders and delivery receipts as necessary and place them in designated areas.
Arrange for delivery or shipping of items as needed using shipper designated on work order/job ticket.
Pull control file copy of work order/job ticket for delivered jobs daily and process remaining documents.
Keep equipment clean lubricated and operable.
Order supplies required using proper procedures.

Skills we are looking for:

Minimum of six months in a production-type workplace.
A willingness to be proactive and take action.
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
Team player that can work with others to deliver a project on time.

Skills desired but not required:

Reject poor quality or incorrect jobs and notify management.
Work with other staff members to exceed customer satisfaction and service expectations.
Comply with all OSHA requirements.
Experience with PrintSmith or PrintersPlan is a plus.

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
