Job Summary
Our client in Warrendale PA is looking for a Applications Draftsman.
Job Duties:
- Work with application engineers to document mechanical aspects of projects including structure assembly and other aspects as required.
- Work with design engineers to document mechanical aspects of products including structure assembly and other aspects of the design as required.
- Work with product suppliers and assemblers of packaging and enclosures to ensure compliance with design requirements.
- Assist in resolution of manufacturing or installation related issues for developed products.
- Perform other related work as assigned by Manager
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Pro-E.
- Minimum 2 years experience creating 2D drawings using AutoCAD and/or Pro-E.
- Exposure to and experience with 3D modeling
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good writing skills.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Attention to detail and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Associates Degree or other training
