Hourly Pay Rate: $60.64 $67.97 per hour 12% superannuation
Security Clearance/Requirements: Must be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain an NV1 security clearance
Working Arrangements: Standard business hours with flexibility required during peak periods (shift work and extended hours may apply)
We are seeking an APS6 Audiovisual/Senior Service Management Officer to support a high-profile national program within a large Federal Government agency. This role sits within a Command Centre environment and provides technical and administrative support to ensure seamless audiovisual operations. Youll play a key role in preparing meeting spaces supporting AV technologies managing system access and ensuring the Command Centre runs smoothly during routine and peak periods.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong stakeholder engagement technical AV support and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced operational environment.
Provide frontline audiovisual support including Microsoft Teams Rooms and related AV technologies
Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues across multiple specialised rooms within the Command Centre
Prepare meeting spaces to ensure all audio and visual equipment is fully operational
Provide administration and coordination support for the Command Centres day-to-day operations
Manage room access system permissions and SharePoint logbooks
Support the physical and digital setup of the Command Centre during periods of increased staffing
Collaborate with other AV specialists when required
Operate professionally using agency policies training and procedures
Essential:
Technical expertise with audiovisual equipment particularly Microsoft Teams Rooms
Experience supporting staff in the use of AV systems
Strong computer literacy with proficiency across corporate systems and multimedia technologies
Demonstrated discretion and integrity when handling confidential information
Proven experience providing program or team administration support
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills including with geographically dispersed teams
Ability to achieve results within strict legislative and policy frameworks
Desirable:
Knowledge of Crestron control systems Q-SYS audio DSP and Teams room video conferencing
Experience preparing reports plans and documents
Must be an Australian Citizen
Ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 clearance
