Summary of the Role:
The Logistics Analytics Underwriter provides support to the Underwriting Team by processing bind orders issuing non-renewal conditional renewal and cancellation notices when required and also providing financial analytics and technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
Provides big data analytics to assist in development of pricing models.
Develop underwriting process and optimization strategies with senior leadership.
Work with AI integration strategy.
Underwrite complex large risk freight brokers
Policy binding and issuance
Qualifications:
Trusted working relationships with carriers and carrier underwriters
Highest level of customer relation skills
Technical analytics background in the financial sector
Process efficiency analysis and implementation experience
Predictive analytics experience
Highest level of interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word Excel and Outlook
Positive attitude and enjoys helping others through frequent phone and email communication
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of adaptability to meet the needs of various situations
Proficient in Carrier Policy Issuance and Endorsement processing systems
Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $180000-$200000 with additional bonus opportunity available. This compensation will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience and working location as well as the specific positions business line scope and level.
