Summary:

Pine Tree Camps at Lynn University is an American Camp Association accredited day and overnight camp in Boca Raton Florida. Pine Tree Camps promotes growth and fun in an environment thats fully committed to the latest standards in health and safety. Pine Tree Camps offers a variety of programs for campers ages 5 to 14 ranging from traditional skill-building camps to sports camps overnight camps and camp counselor training programs. Our campers have fun make friends taste independence and enjoy traditional camp games and activities while making friendships that last a lifetime.

Job Description:

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Prevent emergencies by scanning the pool in a continuous and consistent manner.

  • Enforce pool rules.

  • Handle issues as they arise in a professional manner.

  • Teach swimming to campers ages 5 14.

  • Recognize emergencies or potential incidents and address them immediately.

  • Perform assists or rescues as needed.

  • Complete incident reports in a timely and effective manner.

  • Always ensure a clean and safe pool environment.

Minimum qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.

  • Must be a certified lifeguard or willing to obtain certification.

  • Experience working with children.

  • Must be available to work Mon-Fri 35-40 hours for all 9 weeks of camp plus a week of camp training; 5/26/26 7/31/2026.
