Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronics/Mechanical Technician with hands-on experience working with printed circuit boards (PCBs) and strong soldering skills. This position is responsible for assembling testing troubleshooting and repairing electronic and electromechanical systems ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have a blend of electronics and mechanical aptitude with the ability to work on complex assemblies and support engineering teams.
Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Assemble test and repair electronic and mechanical components including PCBs and subassemblies.
- Perform soldering (through-hole and surface-mount) on circuit boards and other electronic components.
- Inspect and troubleshoot PCB assemblies for defects cold joints or damaged components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings schematics wiring diagrams and work instructions.
- Perform mechanical assembly tasks including fastening wiring and integration of hardware components.
- Conduct functional testing and validation of electronic and electromechanical systems.
- Document test results repairs and assembly processes for quality and traceability.
- Collaborate with engineers to support prototype builds product modifications and design improvements.
- Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment in compliance with company and industry standards.
- Utilize hand tools soldering equipment oscilloscopes multimeters and other diagnostic tools as needed.
