Position Summary
The Global Program Associate plays a key leadership role in supporting global civic engagement at UNC through the coordination and management of the Global Gap Year Fellowship ( GGYF ) and the Bridge Year Fellowship. This position involves overseeing all facets of these programs from recruitment and outreach to advising and budget management while providing direct support to both current and returned addition to program-specific responsibilities the Global Program Associate advises and mentors student leaders involved in global committees and initiatives at the UNC Y fostering ethical international engagement and student leadership development. The role also includes representing the UNC Y in university-wide efforts to expand global opportunities for students building strategic partnerships and contributing to department-wide operations and planning. This position requires strong organizational interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills as well as a commitment to civic engagement and ethical global learning.
Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Bachelors degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
