As a COTA youll:
Work closely with our skilled and dedicated interdisciplinary team in order to maximize patient satisfaction and overall success based on diagnosis and comorbidities
Apply clinical expertise as necessary including but not limited to family and staff education/training recommendations and guidance for safe and successful discharge communicating with Physicians to ensure fluency of care etc.
Complete documentation which follows regulatory guidelines (state federal)
Obtain and document relevant subjective and objective information during treatment sessions
Provide therapeutic rehabilitative treatment to assigned residents.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Currently licensed to practice in State of MN. New graduates and temporary license holders are encouraged to apply.
Must be patient and appreciative of realistic needs and goals of all clients.
Genuine interest in persons with physical and psychological disabilities.
Possess excellent interpersonal organizational and time management skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively with members of the health care team clients residents families visitors vendors and all others that SLP would have interactions with.
Must be able to follow Rehab policies and procedures as instructed and applicable to job responsibilities
Must maintain work and client/resident confidentiality.
