The position

As aOracle PL/SQL Developerat agap2 you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects over the years based on your experience and interests. Projects within industries such as Banking Fintech Telco Retail Sports and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

Youll deeply understand the software landscape ask the right questions and collaborate with your team to deliver value. You will guide a team of Oracle PL/SQL and Java developers take responsibility for product ownership within a DevOps setup and contribute to impactful European projects.

• Work within a team of Oracle PL/SQL and Java developers.
• Take ownership of the product together with your DevOps team.
• Enhance and maintain the existing codebase while delivering new functionality.
• Work onlarge-scale European projectswith real business impact.
• Drive innovation and improve system architecture to ensure scalability and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with external partners and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Play a key role in the transformation toward more efficient and sustainable operations.

What you bring to the position

• Bachelors degree (or equivalent work/thinking level).
• 10 years of experience with PL/SQLin large databases.
• Proficiency with tools such asSQL*Plus TOAD and/or SQL Developer.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus onsystem architecture and scalability.
• Experience inSHELL scriptingandLinuxenvironments.
• Knowledge ofGit/GitHubfor version control.
• Familiarity withAgile methodologiesandDevOps practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English both spoken and written.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across large complex projects.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience withOutSystems.
• Knowledge ofJava/Kotlin.
• Familiarity withretail and logistics processes.
• Experience withKafka.
• Experience withOracle Forms (11g).
• Background in migrating from Oracle to service-oriented architectures.
