A Day in the Life
Our Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune is expanding to serve more people living with diabetes globally. Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to transforming diabetes management through innovative solutions and Technologies that reduce the burden of living with diabetes.The Senior Salesforce Developer will be responsible for leading the development and enhancement of Salesforce applications and integrations. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements designing scalable solutions and mentoring junior developers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Salesforce development a strong grasp of best practices and the ability to drive complex projects to successful completion.
This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronics Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. As a separate entity we anticipate leveraging increased investments to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Lead the design and development of complex Salesforce applications including custom objects fields workflows Apex classes triggers and Lightning components.
Develop and implement advanced Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements ensuring they are scalable secure and maintainable.
Oversee the development of Visualforce pages Lightning Web Components and integrations with external systems using Salesforce APIs.
Architect and design robust Salesforce solutions that align with best practices and business needs.
Review and optimize existing code ensuring performance scalability and adherence to Salesforce development standards.
Create technical design documents and architectural diagrams to support development and implementation efforts.
Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for Salesforce-related issues including complex code problems and system errors.
Collaborate with Salesforce support and other teams to address and resolve technical challenges.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Salesforce customizations configurations and development processes.
Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and governance policies and continuously improve development practices.
Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud Service Cloud or Marketing Cloud.
Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks web development technologies and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools
Assist production support teams for escalated incident resolution.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
A Degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience is for this role.
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II.
