Job Description

Job Title

Data Entry Operator Level II

Location

Olivette MO

Description
This is a projected position with a start date no earlier than October 1.

The Data Entry Operator Level II requires the application of experience and judgment in selecting procedures to be followed and in searching for interpreting selecting or coding items to be entered from a variety of document sources. This role works with greater independence than a Level I Operator applying judgment to determine appropriate procedures while ensuring accurate data entry. The Level II Operator may occasionally perform routine work as described for a Level I Operator.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Enter and verify data from a variety of source documents requiring interpretation and coding.

Apply experience and judgment in selecting appropriate procedures for data entry tasks.

Assist other staff with procedural software application and general work-related questions or issues.

Support the Forms Processing Group and as required provide assistance to Centralized Edit Unit

Frames Maintenance Group

Print Mail Center

Objective Yield Lab

Provide administrative and support functions including filing mail processing and assisting with special projects.

Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all data entry processes.

Meet productivity and accuracy standards for keystrokes scanning editing and administrative tasks

Travel
No travel is expected for this position.

Work Schedule

Full-time

Schedule to be discussed with supervisor

On-site

Overtime may be required

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of one year of data entry or related clerical experience.

Proficiency with alphanumeric and 10-key data entry.

Strong mathematics analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to use automated data processing techniques to analyze and review data.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook.

Ability to navigate new software applications internet and databases.

Advanced verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to assist peers with procedural and software-related questions.

Proven ability to meet productivity and accuracy requirements in data entry scanning and editing.

Must provide documentation of eligibility to legally work in the United States without an employer sponsored visa.

Must be able to pass client background screening for security clearance.

Salary

$24.04 per hour
