Position Summary:
The Warehouse Supply Planner is responsible for supporting the administration replenishment and inventory management activities across company-operated and third-party warehouses. This role ensures timely procurement accurate inventory tracking and efficient warehouse operations through strong collaboration and system proficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Purchasing & Procurement Support:
- Reconcile purchase order receipts in Ariba for all third-party warehouse suppliers.
- Audit supplier invoices in Ariba to ensure accuracy and alignment with purchase orders.
- Support SAP purchase order processes including PO creation confirmations issue resolution and supplier communication.
Reporting:
- Generate and monitor vendor customer and supplier complaints; track corrective actions and enter resolution data in the complaint database.
- Maintain and update warehouse holiday and non-operational schedules.
- Monitor cycle count reports to support inventory accuracy and reconciliation.
- Assist with the preparation and data entry of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Support additional reporting requirements as needed.
Inventory & Operational Support:
- Track and investigate material movements to resolve discrepancies and support logistics accuracy.
- Support packaging adjustments and write-off activities.
- Understand and assist with warehousing SAP transactions.
Key Working Relationships:
- Daily interaction with:
- Warehouse Managers
- Transportation providers
- Cross-functional internal teams and all levels of management
- External suppliers and customers
Qualifications:
Required Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- 2 years of experience in a distribution logistics or supply chain or warehouse operations preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel Word Outlook)
- Experience with ERP WMS and TMS systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Manhattan) is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing; frequent talking and listening.
- Primary work environment is an office with low to moderate noise levels.
- Occasionally work is warehouse or manufacturing environments with high noise levels
