PIRTEK Akron is part of a nationwide leader in fluid transfer solutions. We specialize in on-site hydraulic hose repair and replacement serving a wide range of industries including construction manufacturing transportation and more. We are looking for a skilled motivated Hydraulic Hose Technician to join our growing team.
Position Details
Job Title: Hydraulic Hose Technician
Location: PIRTEK Elyria Elyria OH
Competitive Pay: Based on Experience
Schedule: Full-Time; must be willing to work after hours and weekends
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair hydraulic hose systems on-site for industrial and mobile equipment
Fabricate and install hydraulic hoses and fittings in the field
Lead and train technicians as needed
Maintain service vehicle inventory and equipment
Complete work orders and documentation accurately and on time
Provide excellent customer service during all service calls
Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency service calls after hours and on weekends
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of mechanical experience (automotive heavy equipment or industrial repair)
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hydraulic systems
Experience with industrial equipment and outdoor work is a plus
Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated and dependable
