As a Dental Nurse at our hospital youll be alert focused detail-oriented and empathetic .Youre registered with the appropriate governing body and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration including GMC.
As our Dental Nurse you will:
- To prioritise patient safety taking appropriate actions and encouraging colleagues to call out and report safety concerns.
- To contribute towards effective clinical risk management- supporting risk assessment management and mitigation.
- To proactively identify and manage safety issues and risks in accordance with regulation.
- To ensure a safe working environment for patients visitors and staff (in full compliance with all policies and procedures).
- To recognise and report clinical incidents and risks to the Clinical Leader (and/or Nurse in charge) and contribute to potential solutions.
- To promote safeguarding and to escalate concerns.
- To promote infection prevention ensuring compliance with evidence-based standards and best practices in surveillance and antimicrobial management.
