Schedule:
Rotation 1 (Days):
Sunday Monday Tuesday 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
Every other Saturday 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
Rotation 2 (Nights):
Wednesday Thursday Friday 6:00 PM 6:00 AM
Every other Saturday 6:00 PM 6:00 AM
Salary:$46.16/hour
When your actions lead to success:
Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment including presses and gas-fired dryers
Troubleshoot repair and maintain electrical systems and equipment
Design and install control circuits
Maintain environmental emission controls
Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment modifications
Participate in safety meetings and comply with all Health & Safety policies and 5S standards
Provide on-call support as required
Collaborate with internal teams contractors and suppliers to ensure production flow
Monitor and maintain parts inventory in coordination with purchasing
Communicate proactively with managers supervisors and team leaders to identify concerns and suggest improvements
Provide coaching and leadership support to peers when needed
Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
When your expertise drives us:
Interprovincial Red Seal Certification as an Electrician (required)
13 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (asset)
Experience in the printing industry (asset)
Knowledge of safety procedures including lockout/tagout
Knowledge of PLC software (Allen Bradley Siemens ABB) and ability to design/repair electrical systems
Strong troubleshooting analytical and communication skills
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
WHMIS certification
Forklift and Pallet Jack Certification
First Aid Certificate (asset)
Physical ability to perform duties (standing walking climbing lifting up to 50 lbs during 12-hour shifts)
Ability to work rotational 12-hour continental shifts (days/nights) and overtime when required
