Job Summary

*Remote Contract Opportunity*

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Software Engineer position! This is a 12 month contract opportunity and will be remote in the United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What Youll Be Doing:

Design and specify information systems solutions for new or existing applications.
Serve as a principal application designer providing technological solutions using available tools and analytical skills.
Oversee basic to complex systems analysis design and development.
Act as a key individual contributor on complex projects.
Coordinate development tasks and direct less experienced resources.
Participate in all stages of systems development including user acceptance testing.
Evaluate complex interrelationships among programs and applications.
Lead technical evaluations of vendor software and recommend new technologies.
Prepare thorough technical and functional documentation charts and diagrams.
Maintain supported applications for efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure adherence to risk regulatory standards and internal control policies.

What Youll Need to Have:

Experience in Database Engineering
Knowledge of gRPC
Knowledge of Event Sourcing
Minimum of an Associates degree and 5 years of systems analysis/application development experience OR 7 years of combined higher education and/or work experience including 5 years in systems analysis/app dev
Proficiency with application development platforms and project management tools
Excellent problem-solving time management and organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication; experience presenting to diverse audiences
Ability to multitask and manage complex projects
Experience in recommending and implementing technical solutions
Advanced understanding of integrated applications
Experience working independently and as part of a team
Action-oriented and proactive mindset
Banking industry experience preferred

Pay Range:$54-$69/hr
