Job Description
Job Title: Material Handler
Location: USA Parkway Fernley Nevada
Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule (12-hour shifts)
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Position Type: Full-Time Long-Term
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Material Handler to join our team at our USA Parkway facility. This role is responsible for the efficient movement storage and tracking of materials throughout the warehouse and production areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment and a strong commitment to safety and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive inspect and document incoming shipments of raw materials and finished goods
- Safely operate forklifts pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
- Load and unload trucks ensuring proper handling and placement of materials
- Maintain accurate inventory by identifying labeling and storing materials in designated locations
- Pull pack and secure finished goods for outbound shipments
- Assist with general warehouse upkeep including sweeping organizing and maintaining a clean work environment
- Follow all safety procedures including proper use of PPE and adherence to company policies
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support production and shipping schedules
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a warehouse logistics or manufacturing environment preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain (training may be provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- Strong attention to detail organization and time management
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced warehouse and production setting
- May involve exposure to varying temperatures and physical activity throughout the shift
