Assistant Headteacher and SENDCo
POST TITLE: Assistant Headteacher and SENDCo
RESPONSIBLE TO:ExecutiveHeadteacher or Head of School
Leadership Point Range: L1-L3
Staff supervised: Teaching Assistants
Responsible for: Leadership and Management of SEND
We are a one form entry Church of England located in East Finchley. We offer a friendly and supportive environment for all our staff and pupils
Is passionate about childrens wellbeing especially those who have additional needs and their flourishing in all aspects of school life;
Has a proven track record of improving learning and progress for all children and experience of driving school improvement;
Have excellent knowledge of the curriculum the SEND Code of Practice and strategies to support the effective inclusion of all pupils;
Would provide inspiring leadership for SEND provision across the school and support teachers
A caring Christian ethos where the physical mental social and spiritual flourishing of every child is important
Children whose behaviour and attitudes to learning are exemplary and who genuinely care about their fellow students
A friendly and supportive and collaborative staff team with the drive to improve.
A supportive wider school community;
Commitment to your further professional development including mentoring and support
