The Opportunity
TC Energy is looking to add an #EnergyProblemSolver in the Lafayette LA area to support our efforts in Energy Problem Solving and our daily operations.
We are seeking students enrolled in Bachelor/Associate of Science in Industrial Controls or Instrumentation program or related programs to support our Acadiana area team in troubleshooting maintaining and operating natural gas compressor station control systems measurement equipment and other related facilities.
We engage our students in the very core of our operations. As a valued member of the team youll do exciting challenging work solve real world problems and make a meaningful impact. Youll learn about the business and build your professional network by working closely with other skilled people at TC Energy. Every day will enhance your knowledge skills and passion for what you do.
Term length is 3 months.
Minimum Qualifications
Install test repair and maintain compressor stations meter stations and pipeline system equipment
Operate and troubleshoot reciprocating engines turbine compressors generators and associated electrical systems
Maintain and calibrate electronic pneumatic and hydraulic equipment including PLCs and control systems
Perform diagnostic tests calibrations and equipment replacements using specialized test equipment
Compile and maintain DOT-compliant inspection records and equipment documentation
Complete work orders and data entry in SAP system
Monitor contractor activities on-site

Currently enrolled in Industrial Controls Instrumentation or related undergraduate program
