The Underwriting Multifamily Property Inspector is responsible for conducting thorough inspections of multifamily properties to assess their condition and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations in conjunction with the origination of new loans under Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae programs. This role involves evaluating structural integrity safety features and overall maintenance of properties as well as conducting tenant file audits and surveying comparable properties. The inspector documents findings prepares detailed reports and communicates any issues or concerns to the credit underwriting team. Additionally the Property Inspector may provide recommendations for repairs or improvements and have discussions with 3rd party property condition assessment report providers. This position requires a keen eye for detail strong analytical skills the ability to work independently while adhering to local building codes and safety regulations and strong customer service skills.
This position is fully remote. Consistent domestic travel required.
