Job Description:
This Engineer - Excavator Software Validation role within Caterpillars Excavation Division (EXD) is dedicated to delivering the high-quality software and software package to customers through best validation planning and execution. This position leverages a proven set of validation skills product knowledge and practical experience in the validation/design under strong communication with cross-functional business partners.
In addition this role is highly focused on working for process improvement of overall software lifecycle by utilizing multiple platforms.
Job Duties:
- Lead planning and execution of software and its package validation and analyzing the test result.
- Participate in the development project as software validation lead.
- Develop software validation specifications based upon the requirements.
- Troubleshoot the software bug/issue with related teams.
- Lead the software development/validation process improvement activities.
- Collaborate with worldwide business partners.
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience in accredited Engineering or Computer Science program.
- Experience in programming and scripting languages commonly used in software development workflows including areas such as automation configuration and data handling.
- Strong communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with designing and/or validating software.
- HEX product development and/or quality/validation experience.
- Technical details knowledge in electronics and technologies embedded on HEX.
- Fluent English communication skills.
