Job Title: Chemical Lab Technician
Location: 8531 NE Cornell Rd Suite B300 Hillsboro OR 97124 (100% onsite)
Shift timing: M - F; 08:00AM - 05:00PM
EDUCATION:
- Bachelors degree.
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 2 years of lab experience; preferably in an industrial or pilot plant environment.
SKILLS:
- Wet chemistry skills (required).
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with semiconductor processing is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- The lab technician will be supervised by engineers and lab manager and is expected to be able to independently function in the scope provided below.
- Perform lab experiments daily document and communicate results to support customer-oriented R&D projects.
- Adhere to all safety procedures in conducting daily work handling chemical and operating lab equipment.
- Support customer sample manufacturing in pilot scale.
- Assist shipping and receiving of chemicals.
- Responsible for lab maintenance and inventory.
- Exhibit flexibility and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Contribute ideas that improve the safety efficiency and/or the overall effectiveness of the laboratory and team.
Listed salary ranges may vary based on experience qualifications and local market. Also some positions may include bonuses or other incentives.
