Hitachi Energys Grid Integration business unit has delivered more than 4000 projects over the last 15 years. Our Grid Integration portfolio spans a wide range of transmission and substation applications which facilitate reliable and efficient system integration of the future digital electric network with minimum environmental impact.
We incorporate the integrated systems solutions and services of our business DC and AC fields including HVDC Substations FACTS Grid and Power Quality solutions such as offshore wind connections and Semiconductors. We offer Power Consulting for key segments in the energy system such as renewables transmission distribution and as well as e-transportation solutions.
How youll make an impact
You will lead the project team allocated to the project defining main guidelines allocating project tasks and motivating and monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones. Provides performance feedback regarding allocated resources working on projects.
You will define jointly with the Project Controls department all project plan documents including scope and financial plans schedule and risk management plans. Ensures that all planning activities (including scope and financial plans schedules and risk management plans) are performed properly by the assigned project team(s).
You will ensure that the project follows execution best practices and Hitachi Energy policies. Effectively monitors and controls project progress and efficient resource utilization. Monitors and controls project financials overseeing project invoicing status cost expenses and cash flow. Identifies qualifies quantifies and manages project risks and ensures that all opportunities are identified and pursued.
You will capture analyse and shares lessons learned throughout the project. Ensure that the project is formally closed out as contractually agreed. Drives the formal acceptance of the project contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer.
You will ensure that the project consistently applies contract and claims management in accordance with Hitachi Energy policies and contractual agreements. Coordinates with Supply Chain Management and successfully procures required services materials and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers. Support Supply Chain Management in supplier negotiations claims and project changes.
You will act as a key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.
You will ensure the project follows and complies with company health safety and environmental policies.

Your background
You hold a Bachelor or Master in Engineering.
You should be >8 years of experience in project management related fields.
You have proven understanding of power system industry and solutions. You are analytical and with ability to structure complex environments
Strong sense of cost saving and quality control.
Good team player effective influencer and leadership profile
Good English communication and written skill.
