Job Description
Job Summary
They are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Architect to design implement and optimize scalable cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The architect will partner with business stakeholders solution architects and engineering teams to deliver secure high-performing and cost-effective cloud solutions that support Automobiles enterprise IT and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of cloud solutions on AWS for enterprise applications data platforms and connected mobility solutions.
- Collaborate with Automobiles engineering and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable AWS architectures.
- Define cloud adoption frameworks migration strategies and best practices aligned with Automobiles IT governance.
- Design and implement high-availability disaster recovery and backup solutions using AWS services.
- Evaluate and recommend AWS services (EC2 Lambda EKS RDS S3 CloudFront etc.) for business use cases.
- Ensure compliance with security performance and cost optimization standards.
- Mentor developers DevOps engineers and other technical staff on cloud best practices.
- Work with enterprise architects to integrate AWS workloads with on-premises and hybrid systems.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8 years of overall IT experience with at least 4 years in cloud architecture (AWS preferred).
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale solutions in AWS.
- Strong knowledge of core AWS services: VPC IAM EC2 Lambda RDS S3 ECS/EKS CloudFormation/Terraform CloudWatch API Gateway.
- Expertise in microservices architecture containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and serverless computing.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security IAM policies encryption and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitHub Actions CodePipeline) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Solid background in networking load balancing VPN Direct Connect and hybrid cloud design.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to interact effectively with Automobiles global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (highly preferred).
Experience in the automotive manufacturing or mobility domain.
Familiarity with SAP on AWS IoT solutions or data lake/analytics platforms.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
