Job Description
Role: Lead QA Engineer (Data Center)
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Location: New York City NY (On-site with Hybrid)
Job Details:
Client is looking for a specialized Lead QA Engineer with deep expertise in data center facilities and infrastructure responsible for independent validation of all physical and IT systems.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop the master Test & QA plan for the project.
- Independently validate vendor work for electrical HVAC cabling and physical security systems.
- Oversee and support the formal commissioning process for the data center facility.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 7-10 years in IT with 5 years focused on infrastructure QA.
- Must have direct hands-on experience with data center commissioning and testing of facilities (UPS generators CRAC units).
- Industry certifications such as Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) or similar; familiarity with Uptime Institute or ASHRAE standards.
