About this Position Position/Specialty: MRI Tech Shift: 5x8s 1p-9:30p (M-F) Weekend REQ: Possibly if on call On-call REQ Yes on call rotation among staff members. Call is M-F (6p-5:30a) and weekends from 5:30a on Saturday until Monday morning at 5:30a. Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units/sister facilities (Y/N) No Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: At least 1 year of experience First-timer travelers accepted (Y/N): No Certs REQ: BLS ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT Equipment Experience REQ: Philips Radiation Badge REQ: No Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule (Y/N): Approval can be requested prior to assignment but not guaranteed. Local Radius: 60 miles Locals Accepted: (Y/N): Yes on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs. Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Level III Trauma Total Staffed Beds: 286 Scrub Color: Black pants and Teal top Charting: Epic Parking Cost: Free parking Hurricane Season** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
