Job Summary

Job Title: GIS Tech 1
Job Location: Birmingham AL 35203.

Pay Rate:-XX23XX.

Job Description:

Input processing and maintenance of Clients Lines and Equipment assets in an ESRI GIS database.

Qualification requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required > Bachelor s degree (Geography GIS or similar field) GIS Certificate or at least 2 years of full time GIS work experience is required.

Power Distribution knowledge is a plus.

Experience with ESRI ArcGIS software required; experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pro software is a plus.

Competency with standard computer software to include Microsoft Office suite is required.

Capable of working in a team environment is required.

Experience with CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) is a plus

Flexible to work 40 hours per week M-F in an office environment in Birmingham Alabama.

Shifts may be 8 or 10 hours per day starting as early as 7am and ending as late as 5pm.

Flexible to work remotely (from home) as well.

Remote work requires stable broadband Internet connection of 20mb/s or capable of supporting remote desktop connections over VPN and is responsibility of worker.

Note: Once the 3 month training period is completed in Bham Alabama (depends on individual) work may become mostly remote with occasional work meetings training the office. No per diem available for onsite training meetings and live within commuting distance to office in Birmingham AL.
