The 2025-26 faculty grid for this position is$73263 to $112656 based on years of experience and a Bachelor of Education. Faculty with a Masters will be paid at a higher range.

Mulgrave School is looking for an adventurous passionate Outdoor Education Teacher to join our team during a maternity leave term. This is your chance to inspire students from Pre-K through Grade 12with a special focus on Middle and Senior School (Grades 612)through hands-on curriculum-connected experiences in the outdoors.
In this role youll design and lead unforgettable learning opportunities: from on-campus explorations to off-campus adventures includingovernight and weekend trips. Youll also work closely with classroom teachers helping them bring their curriculum to life through experiential education.
What You Bring:
- Certification (or eligibility) to teach in BC.
- A Bachelors Degree in Education (or equivalent).
- Class 4 Drivers Licence & Wilderness First Responder (or ability to obtain).
- Teaching experience ideally with Grades 612.
- Energy fitness and a love of outdoor adventure.
- A collaborative spirit and strong communication skills.
Bonus Points For
- IB MYP/DP teaching experience.
- PHE teaching background.
- Certifications in outdoor pursuits (canoeing kayaking climbing skiing avalanche safety lifeguarding etc.).
- Guiding experience and a passion for community building.
