JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Pharmacist in Charge effectively directs and supervises the activities of all pharmacy associates while providing high quality patient-centered pharmacy services. The Pharmacist in Charge creates outstanding patient experience through exceptional service and patient care by establishing and maintaining a safe and clean environment that encourages our patients to return. The Pharmacist in Charge achieves sales and profit goals established for the department and monitors and controls all established quality assurance standards. They embrace the customer 1st strategy and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service while demonstrating Amberwell Culture Competencies.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:
- Minimum Required Experience: 1 year retail pharmacy experience
- Preferred Experience: 2 year experience including 1 year management experience
Education:
- Minimum Required Education: Graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD or RPh
- Preferred Education: Doctor of Pharmacy
Licenses:
- Minimum Required Licenses: Current Kansas Pharmacist License in good standing
- Preferred Licenses: Kansas
Certifications:
- Minimum Required: Immunization Certified CPR certification
