Job Summary/Description:

WCJB is looking for a creative and energetic individual who wants to work in the exciting world of video production. We are looking for a skilled writer/editor/graphic designer/videographer to create powerful concepts to market a message or tell a story for the station and/or clients through video (digital and broadcast).

Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Show up to all shoots before the scheduled time.
- Set up all equipment for shoots promptly to make sure the client is not waiting.
- Complete all assignments within the timeline that was set by Creative Services for the client.
- Monthly inspections of equipment.
- Continuous training to perfect editing & shooting with all cameras and editing programs.
- Assist others in editing and or shooting projects when needed.
- Work with Account Executives and clients to develop compelling content for broadcast and digital consumption.
- Communicate any elements needed from the client to complete the project (logos pictures etc.)
- Communicate progress or problems with management as it relates to the scope of work for the client.
- Complete assigned topicals daily.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud primarily Premiere Pro After Effects Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Knowledge of production lighting techniques.
- Must be proficient with DSLR and ENG gear and demonstrate strong cinematography skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 35lbs and stand for extended periods of time in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Must have strong organizational skills and be skilled at presenting ideas and gaining the approval and satisfaction of clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Candidates must be comfortable in both Mac & PC environments.
- A college degree is required or equivalent professional experience.
- Possess or have the ability to obtain a Part 107 UAS certificate.
- Must be self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously both independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Time-management skills and day-to-day project flexibility are required along with a sense of urgency to deliver projects under tight deadlines.

Be prepared to send writing samples a demo reel and proof of social media usage to engage audiences.
